Assailant class High-Fire Destroyer

Based on the “Excelsior class” technology, but evolved from the older “Aggressor class”, the “Assailant class” is a true High-Fire Destroyer, designed to hold its ground against all comers.

Often encountered on the frontier & in other hostile areas, the “Assailant class” has proven to be a match for anything they could possibly run into, so fierce is its reputation that it’s one of the few ships in the known galaxy that Klingon commanders actively avoid if possible.
